Delete your account

How to delete your Owulo Skin account and the data we hold about you, published by Owulo (Pty) Ltd, the developer of Owulo Skin.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Owulo Skin and sign in.
2. Open the side menu and tap Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Delete without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@owulo.com from the email address on your account with the subject line Delete my Owulo account. We verify that the request comes from the account's email address and complete the deletion within 30 days, and we confirm by email when it is done.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and account details (name, email address, date of birth, gender, pregnancy or breastfeeding status), all face photographs, product photographs and scan images, your scan history and skin scores, your Mirror Chat history, your check-ins, routines, products, streaks and milestones, and your push notification token. Your analytics identifier is removed from our analytics provider on request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What may be kept

Records that we are legally required to keep, such as purchase and tax records held by our payment providers, are retained for the period the law requires. Data that has already been anonymised so that it cannot be linked back to you is not affected by deletion. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first through the platform you subscribed on: your App Store account settings on iPhone, Google Play subscription settings on Android, or our cancellation page if you subscribed on this website.
